The Kura Falls is located in an area of magnificent scenery some 77 kilometers southeast of Jos. It is a beautiful area of hills and lakes ideal for boating, camping and rock climbing. This resulted from the activities of tin mining in the area.  It is also located at the state’s first hydroelectric power station. The Kura Falls lies to the east of Barkin-Ladi along the Jos-Pankshin road.
