Stephanie Okwrie, CEO of Steff Foods in Abuja, holds a moment with Events Forest sharing her experience. Welcome to Chef Steff with our slogan “your satisfaction our utmost priority”

I am a lot better not just with my income but also with my experience and even with the hitches of business in our country, I thank God we are moving forward and going places.

HOW IT STARTED?

Oh well I love good food and basically, I love the grin on people’s face when they eat a good meal.

I’ve always wanted to have something big but then again I thought to myself why not start small and a lecturer in my school spoke about businesses and that was the motivation I needed and afterwards, I kicked off.

WHEN DID YOU START?

I started in school and it was not easy meeting up with school work and cooking to deliver but with time, I got better at it and I am surviving.

Although, I am done with school so I had to move the business to Abuja and start full time. Starting almost all over again has not been easy but God keeps surprising me and I have orders and customers daily.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNING POINT?

I wouldn’t say I am at my turning point yet but I am getting there because I still have a lot to achieve

WHAT DRIVES YOU DAILY?

My quality and our slogan is our watch word and it keeps me going. We make sure to deliver the best to our clients and most of the time, we aren’t found guilty.

Things that drives me includes my zeal, passion and the mind set of making it in life and making it well.

CAN YOU RATE YOUR INCOME COMPARED TO WHEN YOU STARTED AND NOW?

I am a lot better not just with my income but also with my experience and even with the hitches of business in our country, I thank God we are moving forward and going places.

ADVICE?

Hmmmmmm its simple. First of all, discover yourself and try your best to be the best in what you love doing even if you want to sell tomatoes, sell the best. Never give up on your dream. It’s your time to conquer the world.
