We sent the CEO of  Reign Ushers some question to help our audience get to know them and in response to our interview questions, she has these to say;

Introduce the company?

Reign Ushers is a fast-growing ushering agency based in FCT, Abuja that provides well cultured, competent and groomed ushers for your events. We add ambiance to your events, leave your guests well attended-to and satisfied. Reign Ushers are guaranteed professional team players, self-motivated and able to work in crowded and stressful situations.

We understand that planning an event is not necessarily an easy task so when we hear clients make some initial complains, we try our best to be understanding of the fact that most of it could be due to stress or tension of attaining perfection for the said event at the end of the day.

What ideas where behind the creation of the company?

We saw the need for event staffs such as ushers, waiters, servers as well as setup personnel after some personal research as there where increasing number of events in different genres in the state capital, Abuja. Asides being a means to an end, being a part of a success story, getting evident results, having a team built like an Army, impacting in their lives in every little way possible and cubing unemployment has being our biggest drive.

What challenges do you face regularly, in trying to meet the demands of your customers?

Every Customer/Client is unique with its own challenges. Sometimes it could be that the selected few do not meet up to the expectations of the client or that the costume choice isn’t the expected fit for the ushers. Sometimes we even get complains that the ushers are tired or are not doing enough especially in cases where very few ushers where contracted to do the job of a very large crowd.

How do you tackle those challenges?

Well again, every Customer/Client is unique. So the method of follow up and helping to cub the situation at hand differs but with patience and understanding almost 100% of the time, we leave the client happy and satisfied with our services. We understand that planning an event is not necessarily an easy task so when we hear clients make some initial complains, we try our best to be understanding of the fact that most of it could be due to stress or tension of attaining perfection for the said event at the end of the day.

What/When was the turning point?

Initially, getting jobs was really difficult as most of the clients would price really low which would be weigh below your budget for payments and procurements. But then we were contracted by Abuja Enterprise Agency(AEA) to provide about 20 ushers, the event was a big deal as there were lots of dignitaries in attendance and also we were able to meet up all the expectations they required, they were so pleased. That was the turn-around that gave us even more push to strive further.

How do you tackle those challenges?

We review our policies from time to time, set goals at given opportunities. We take feedbacks from our clients as well as our ushers very seriously- positive or negative. We advertise market and also promote our executed jobs as often as possible. We always look forward to acquiring new inspirations on how to better our delivery, improve our outlook and services as a whole.

What kept you going?

Knowing that we could do better, learning new ways of being creative, putting smiles on people’s faces, being an active part of stakeholders success stories and also making profit gives us desired fulfilment to keep pushing.

Compared to when you started and now, how will you rate your incomes and outcomes?

When we started, there was no defined purse for accountability, there was no remedy for certain clients who’d take forever to make payments but today, we can proudly say we are registered, we have an active company account, all our jobs as well as expenses are properly documented and accounted for.

What is your advice to young entrepreneurs who look up to you?

The sky is a large place, big enough to contain everybody’s dreams and aspirations. It surely won’t come easy, you need consistency and patience to deal with all the troubles that comes with this venture, so long as you are willing, everything is possible!
